Courthouse Apartments energy inclusive option

New for 2016-2017, we have teamed up with UniHomes who are able to offer an all inclusive energy package.

About UniHomes

UniHomes take away the hassle of setting up and managing your energy. Say goodbye to bills and long phone calls to energy companies! Signing up with UniHomes means you pay a set amount each month in addition to your rent (as per your tenancy agreement with Westmanor). UniHomes will set up your electricity account on your behalf and manage/pay the bills.

How it works

Once you have signed a tenancy agreement with Westmanor, you will then be required to sign an additional utility agreement with UniHomes to cover the energy costs.

FAQs

Q. Will the amount payable to UniHomes be discounted over the eight week summer period like my rent is?

A. Unfortunately not. The amount is payable for the full duration of your tenancy without any deductions.

Q. Is there a cap on the energy usage?

A. Yes, however UniHomes include a very generous energy allowance as detailed in the agreement (follow link above). UniHomes will contact you on a regular basis to advise you on your usage.

Q. Can I cancel the utility contract if I change my mind?

A. You may cancel within fourteen days of signing the UniHomes Utility Agreement by giving them written notice via email or letter.

Q. Is the utility contract joint with my flatmates?

A. Yes it is, you would all need to sign a joint utility form. Please note that your tenancy agreement with Westmanor for you rent is a separate agreement.

Q. When do I have to sign the UniHomes utility agreement?

A. We would ask you to sign this at the same time of signing your tenancy agreement with Westmanor. However, if you do decide later on that you want to sign up with UniHomes, then you may do this prior to the start of your tenancy.
